Shisha Spot- Luxor Lounge

for smoking a shisha out of a hooka in the west village, there are a few places one can go. Both places are owned by the same company, luxor. luxor has two hookah bars on the same strip on macdougal between west 4th and west 3rd. There is luxor lounge and luxor cafe. these are good spots to smoke a fine narghila and sheesha. they have interesting fruit flavors and options for a deluxe hookah with the bowl head made out of a hollowed piece of fruit. the sheesha in this place is ok. the hookas are a little over used and a bit harsh. their pricing for deluxe hookahs is in my mind a but over priced and they are not excellent. The luxor lounge is the larger of the two with a beer and wine list that goes well with their flavored narghila. one draw back of the lounge and the cafe is that they require all customers to purchase at least one drink. also on the weekends sometimes in the middle of smoking your second or third hookah they will ask you to leave and point to their one hour maximum limit if necessary sign. this can be very discouraging especially if you are with a date and enjoying your time smoking some fine shisha out of one of their mediocre hookas
